Thank you Wongbruce,
Mine is council not CDC. What's the time frame in general for council approval?

As earlier advised try to negotiate the date by 3 more months to be on the safe side. Elara Suburb? Well there may be changes in boundaries and there might be a very slim chance that Elara stays in Marsden Park. Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2567Sep 03, 2017 10:08 pm Hi guys, Does anyone know when the local shopping centre with Coles or Woolworths in Elara will be built? Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2570Sep 06, 2017 7:03 pm kaycee Any idea why the development along side of the Aldeton drive (Paint ball area) has been stopped? Council have circulated development proposal a while ago, but didn't commence any construction activities as of yet. Is there any reason behind this? My house is in the DA stage, the minimum landscape area for a small lot (300sqm or below) is 15% for State Environmental Planning Policy (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008 but it is 25% (!) for Blacktown City Council Growth Centre Precincts. This is a huge difference that determined whether I can put a decking or paving the backyard or not. The builder seems using the figure 25% in the DA but I will likely to pave part of my backyard at the later stage. Do you have any idea which one I should follow? Many thanks. Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2576Sep 13, 2017 1:19 am Hello, Was hoping to get some advice. We have some illegal dumping of rocks and large amount of soil on our vacant block of land. We suspect one of our neighbors as they are the only ones building close to us at the moment. I rang council to get details of owner or builder as there is no fence no information or signage re: this available on that lot. Council told me that they are an owner builder and due to freakin privacy issues the cant share details unless i send them an email and then they will see what they can do. It s so sad and disappointing to see people can be so mean and heartless. Any suggestions on how i can deal with this issue? Stockland and builder have both put it back on us to clean up. If colorbond, is it standard colour for everyone? I am just wondering if your neighbours' fence is of different colour, it looks a bit ugly. If anyone already built in this area, how did you manage with your neighbour? |
