Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Buying land at Tallawong Road Rouse Hill 31Aug 17, 2017 9:08 am pintu Thanks for the updates Henry & Tim. Came across this thread recently and closely following it since then (I have also bought a plot here!) Appreciable efforts by Henry to get this going & keeping it alive and hope other would also join soon. Haven't heard about new suburb but was told about street name being finalized by the developers but not sure how far that went. Haven't yet started looking for a Builder, waiting for the upcoming Information evening. Liked McDonald James house plans but think they are towards the higher end of the pricing spectrum. Will revisit EB again, was quite happy with their offerings at Marsden Park. Thanks Bruce for the links (will visit them soon) ps. Also any new information about School would be greatly appreciated. Welcome pintu and thanks for joining this topic! Re: Buying land at Tallawong Road Rouse Hill 32Aug 23, 2017 3:08 pm Thanks for creating this thread. I bought a block with 12 frontage from 115. Now wondering if I could build double garage or not. From council website, the minimum is 12.5m for double garage. Have been visiting builders some say minimum 12.5 and some say no problem. Re: Buying land at Tallawong Road Rouse Hill 33Aug 23, 2017 4:39 pm Hi, Are you coming to the information evening this Friday as it is a good time and opportunity to discuses all you questions and get good advices from the agency and other owners? Also, please have your contract read by the builder as it will give them the council regulations for the building I think. Re: Buying land at Tallawong Road Rouse Hill 34Sep 10, 2017 6:42 pm Hi Great thread and comments as i too am interested in this area. Advertised are house and land packages but you all seem to be talking about finding builders and designs. Did you buy land only and if so what do you suggest is a price for land only for me to consider. Thanks again for sharing your experience and advice. Hi Camper, Welcome to this topic, based on the information we got from the update meeting of this project and other selling projects around 115 Tallawong Road, price is around $1830 to $1967 per square meters in this area. Also depends on the frontage width and distance to the future train station. I am not an agent and no one is paying me any money for promotion of this area but personally I still recommend people to buy in this area as of today because of the potentials, specially lots within 10mins walking distance to the cudgegong road station. Let's mark the price I listed today and compare it with price in the year of 2024 in the future(when the second stage of Sydney Metro Northwest has completed). Thanks and Regards Henry Re: Buying land at Tallawong Road Rouse Hill 36Oct 02, 2017 7:18 pm ATTENTION!! Guys, unfortunately there have been changes from council's end to merge area 10 and 11, with the proposed name of 'Wran' (behind labor politician). Real Estate Agent and quite few guys have started sending mails and petition against proposed name. If anyone want to do the same PM me so the list of Councillors can be shared. Re: Buying land at Tallawong Road Rouse Hill 37Dec 04, 2017 3:06 pm Hey guys, Latest update if you are interested: I took a few photos of the site about 2 days ago, please have a look and feel free to make comments. It looks like they started the demolition, but tbh the overall progress is not extremely impressive, for e.g: the large pond is still there with trees. As Christmas is coming soon so I guess we should not expect too much until Jan: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Buying land at Tallawong Road Rouse Hill 38Dec 12, 2017 9:34 am I think that the development is still about 5-6 months away from completion. Did agent or builder confirm the approximate completion date? Please let me know. Also, my solicitor said that this project is going for a while, and owners didnt interest to finish the project soon. Not sure whether this is the right info. Hence checking with you. Your inputs will help me in making decision.
