Congrats again, it must be feeling so good! (And tired!!) Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2093Aug 12, 2017 5:56 pm Everything looks fab!! Love the bunny set up! https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_ ... are_type=t Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2094Aug 12, 2017 6:44 pm Just love your place, your furniture makes it so homely Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2095Aug 12, 2017 7:03 pm Thanks all D Its actually still a complete mess Everything is tucked away, but most of it is in the wrong spot!! Was a big day, picked up the truck, emptied the storage unit (YAY!), unloaded the truck.. unloaded all the cars. Had some friends help, they put the bed together, TV, placed the furniture. We stacked all the boxes in one of the spare rooms, and then just took them from there... did the kitchen first.. and then everyone just kind of started doing stuff XDD thankfully my parents took all the boxes away for me DD I just have to go through each room to figure out where everything ended up and put it in its proper place (And give everything a good clean!!) I'm not staying there tonight. Too tired, plus all the pets.. they get moved tomorrow. We had some issues, but nothing insurmountable. Noticed more and more issues around the house (bits of mortar, etc). Good guys delivered the fridge, washer and dryer... and they chipped a brick on the front porch They couldn't install the washer because the hole wasn't cut big enough for the pipe... my dad sorted that out though by taking the thing off the hose, putting it through the hole and putting it back on (duh!!). Washing machine MIGHT be leaking, need to double check when I wash something. Dryer needs to go up on the wall, but isn't up there yet... its a bit of a pain where it is. Fridge, TV and such is in and working... internet wasn't when I left, will have to try again tomorrow. The biggest problem was the side gate, we were told it would come put together... it came in a million pieces with no instructions. So chasing them up on Monday for a solution ;-; Otherwise no major issues. I just need to work room by room to put everything in its place and give it all a good clean. Anyways, proper photos once I make everything pretty XD Today was just such a whirlwind. Exhausted. Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2096Aug 12, 2017 7:09 pm charlibear Just love your place, your furniture makes it so homely Thanks Charli!! Somehow I didn't take a photo of the bed (which I made D) I'm really happy with how the furniture all worked out, works well with the colours. Also love that IKEA rug under the rabbit cage, might even grab another for the loungeroom. But I am in. And agree, for everything thing that gets done it feels like another problem happens. But hopefully after a few months I will be all settled and things will be sorted out. Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2099Aug 12, 2017 7:55 pm So happy you're finally in! I do like that rug, I might get that too for my living room. Its an indoor/outdoor rug. I hope they love it!! It cost quite a bit, but I think it looks much nicer than their old cages. I just can't wait to have the whole place sorted. I need to buy so much stuff, need a bin, rugs, decorations, extra pillows for my bed, cushions!! D All the fun decorative stuff. The towel rails are too small for my towels I work with owner, he/she is my man on the ground and I instruct them when to visit the site and take photos and I have other tools in the bag. 4 15439 I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this? I am in SA 8 17191 Depends what you're current inclusions are, but we're not including wardrobes and will just use second hand ones until we can save later on to get them built. Also have a… 3 11822 |
