Very excited for you Our Acacia build - http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=86619 Re: KDR in Sydney - Sekisui Luzia 2 304Aug 12, 2017 8:18 pm Nope we can't get in any more, although the painter seems to have left a couple of windows open, so you never know 😋. Sekisui is doing our driveway and fixing up the layback, we added it as an extra at the start. That will pretty much be the last thing, SS said he didn't want the tradies to ruin it. Re: KDR in Sydney - Sekisui Luzia 2 305Aug 12, 2017 8:19 pm Still not getting my hopes up because SS told us 6 weeks ago that we were 6 weeks away, and we aren't in yet! Slowly getting there. Re: KDR in Sydney - Sekisui Luzia 2 306Aug 12, 2017 8:23 pm I also sent another email to our CSO about the 25 delay days they added on for customer dispute. I initially emailed her about it on May 3rd and still haven't heard back.... Great customer service.... Basically they should be paying us liquidated damages from end of June because they have taken so long. It will be interesting to hear the response, if we ever get one.... That's cool, one less thing to worry about. We opted to do driveway and paths ourselves thinking we could save abit of money but now we have the headache of finding a good concretor and hoping there's no probs. Re: KDR in Sydney - Sekisui Luzia 2 308Aug 19, 2017 7:34 pm SS asked us if we wanted to keep any of the extra bricks, and said if we did we'd have to move them up the back ourselves. So we took the opportunity today while the carpenter was there to do that and have a peek inside! I think the garage doors matches with your bricks quite nicely. And it looks like your skirting colours got done eventually in a different colour. Did you have to tell them? Re: KDR in Sydney - Sekisui Luzia 2 314Aug 20, 2017 8:14 am No, we didn't tell them about the skirting boards, so we were very happy to see they were the right colour! We have booked in a pre-flooring inspection on August 31st with the SS (he asked for it), and we noticed that the small amount of weatherboard at the back isn't painted so we bring that up then if it isn't done within the next week. Re: KDR in Sydney - Sekisui Luzia 2 317Aug 20, 2017 2:10 pm Waigo What is the name of the bricks you have used? Hi Waigo, our bricks are PGH Opaline - Tourmaline. Re: KDR in Sydney - Sekisui Luzia 2 319Aug 21, 2017 5:22 pm Waigo Okay thanks they look really nice. We have chosen PGH Concord bricks for our new build. Awesome! We took ages to decide between the Concord and Tourmaline. Your house will look great! We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37084 The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 18896 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13437 |
