Just a bit of a shame about the outstanding items.. I thought about not doing handover... but need to move forward. The biggest issue is the porch eaves leaking, hopefully they can fix that soon. Can't wait to start moving in tomorrow. Will share photos as the day progresses. Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2068Aug 11, 2017 8:18 pm Just got a call, shutters will be installed next Saturday Wish it was THIS Saturday, but at least its pretty soon. I still haven't packed a thing.. I'm hopeless. It's just too cold to do anything. Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2069Aug 11, 2017 8:19 pm Woohoo still so bloody happy for you!!!! Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2070Aug 11, 2017 8:23 pm Thanks Charli!! I'm very anxious tonight.. big move tomorrow. I'm worried about the outstanding issues.. finances, wondering if I should have pushed more about some things, especially the penalties.. hopefully will feel better once I settle into the house. I am happy with the house itself. I will be putting up a heap of lists on my blog soon, the 'things I would do differently', 'the things I love' and all my cost break downs. Just kind of want it to be tomorrow already Re: {Dawn} SE Melb Build - HANDOVER!!! 2071Aug 11, 2017 9:30 pm Dining room With blinds down Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ En suite basin Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Toilet Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ These are some of the cracks in the concrete floor in the garage, I hope they are nothing serious..there are a lot of them!!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Garage wall... the paint work is very average, the builder has said they will sand the wall down and repaint. Can see more cracks too. They also need to clean the floor more, as they haven't got it clean at all.. wonder if I can make them pay for epoxy or something, once we know the cracks aren't structural.
