How'd you go with the gate quotes? What sort of gate are you getting? We want a Colorbond slat gate and I've just been looking online to find a couple places to contact for quotes as want to get that installed ASAP to secure the back garden and avoid our HWS getting stolen! Just walked into a store and ordered. XDDD I don't know if they have them over there though. My side gate is $1,400... but its pretty fancy, I found out last weekend I could have had the same look for half the price with a similar product... but the guy messed me up. Oh well.. At least my front fencing slats are only costing $279. Re: First timers - Smart Homes for Living in Wellard 375Aug 11, 2017 8:58 am aloenyx We went through Stratco.. Your quote included installation from memory right? Don't mind installing myself but happy to pay $50 to get the gate delivered and installed compared to the $400 to drive out and pick it up. Yes, it did include installation. When i thought about how much the materials would cost to do it myself and then the time taken to do it, $450 for someone else to do it was very attractive. I think it only took at most an hour for him to install. Painters are still there doing dome touch ups which was handy as i noted one or two spots to patch up and paint on frames and tiles that needed cleaning. Now to get the keys!
