We did our Gallery appointment in June and felt really uneasy with a couple of selections, so this waiting time makes me hesitate more. Would you share your Gallery photos? I only took 1 photo of our overall colours but our bathroom/ensuite has a light grey floor tile with a dark grey wall tile and a Cuban wood light grey cabinet and benchtop. And our kitchen has matte black bottom cupboards, with a white/cream stone bench top, black glossy splash back tiles and then glossy white overhead cupboards. So hopefully all that will tie in well π Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Your kitchen choices are so similar to ours! (Black bottom, grey counter tops, shiney black tile backsplash and then matte white upper cabinets!) I love your overall colour scheme - how long a day was it to make the decisions for you guys? We heard it can take forever! Re: Simonds Prague Modified SA 34Aug 06, 2017 12:32 am JM1911A1 gemm01 Kika Hi Gemm01, I am so happy to see another Simonds thread to follow. We heard some people would have to do a second trip, did you get to sneak in a peek around the show room previously? Ours took from 9-1, and most of that was just chatting after way too decisive decision making haha. Black and white does seem to be the go, I've heard wood tones are going strong/due to be the next trend but I'm not aassive fan of the laminex really wood-like look. Big fan of real haha. It felt like a very long day with my partner just coming off nightshift at 7am so he had no sleep and trying to make decisions all day was tough haha The showroom was getting renovated the whole time we were dealing with them so we actually made 90% of our choices based on photos she had! We chose the Cuban wood look in our ensuite/bathroom cupboards and bench top just because she showed us a brochure and it looked good in them π we don't want the same look of a rental bathroom. We wanted ours to be different and with different colours etc Re: Simonds Prague Modified SA 37Aug 06, 2017 12:52 am gemm01 JM1911A1 Oh wow! Long day huh? We went for the concrete looks instead with plain matte cupboards ourselves. The more warm wood option types they had or bamboo ones were not our cup of tea! Re: Simonds Prague Modified SA 38Aug 06, 2017 7:35 am Very nice choices Can't believe that they are still renovating, they were doing that when we were there this time last year Re: Simonds Prague Modified SA 39Aug 06, 2017 7:49 am My partner has been rethinking our light grey wood look for both the benchtop and cupboards but it's way too late now haha he will just have to deal with it ππ They told us when we had to go in for our site supervisor meeting that it would be done by the end of August! Way too late for us anyway! |
