Browse Forums Building A New House Re: N.Brisbane - custom build w/ Valeco Home 10Jul 30, 2017 8:32 pm Hey staceyrussell, I remember we contacted you a few months ago for info on your polished concrete floor. Impatient to see the result for you guys, it will look awesome!!!!!! Re: N.Brisbane - custom build w/ Valeco Home 11Jul 30, 2017 8:37 pm queenievenus Thanks, gr8ly. I did the plan by myself and Valeco fixed some dimensions. One thing is time flieeeees during the colour selection appointment. Better to be prepared before getting there We've upgraded lots of items during the specification, such as: - 2 large tiles for all the floor (450*900mm) and bathroom wall (300*600mm) - 3 basins, 2 toilettes, 2 shower taps - kitchen sink, bench top and appliances - carpet to be VINYL... - lights, fans, two-way switches - 1200mm front door - grout to match tiles - etc Even though we did not have many things to choose, we spent about 3.5 hours..., especially for the external wall colour selection. The frost brick, the raw concrete stone, and your external colours look the same as ours haha! Great minds think alike! can't wait to see it come to life! we took the entire 3 hours at colour consult, and most of that time was the external selections as well! I want our build to start already... seems like this building process has been going on forever! We first started looking into everything in like September last year. And our build will probably start September this year. I'm trying so hard to be patient... Re: N.Brisbane - custom build w/ Valeco Home 13Jul 30, 2017 8:49 pm We eventually chose this floor tile for the whole house, which seems a little bit like concrete, hopefully http://www.beaumont-tiles.com.au/All-Products/Product-Details?pid=1000060 Re: N.Brisbane - custom build w/ Valeco Home 14Jul 30, 2017 8:52 pm Will keep going update photos to let you know the process Re: N.Brisbane - custom build w/ Valeco Home 15Jul 30, 2017 9:01 pm queenievenus We eventually chose this floor tile for the whole house, which seems a little bit like concrete, hopefully http://www.beaumont-tiles.com.au/All-Products/Product-Details?pid=1000060 Oh that does look pretty damn awesome!! How much was the tile to cover the main house? Re: N.Brisbane - custom build w/ Valeco Home 18Jul 30, 2017 9:15 pm queenievenus Ah, that's pretty good!! Yayyyy slab!! Haha Re: N.Brisbane - custom build w/ Valeco Home 19Jul 31, 2017 5:58 pm Hi queenie, Just curious what your SS' initial are? Trying to work out whether we will share him as we are also north Brisbane So still no slab and apparently the concreter cancelled. Here come the delays... apparently things haven't recovered quite as much as I thought. I've been told maybe next… 8 31858 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34651 6 55899 |
