We have purchased a very similar block in size and orientation however we do not have easements and crossover is limited to the front right corner. Interested on how everything is going? if you decided to purchase the land / what information you found out. Hi CK, We have paid the deposit and waiting for the contracts - the land won't be registered until later this year. Currently trying to get the builders to site a house for us with the available information, but they seems to site the house differently! Also getting some estimates to fit within our $300K budget. Will update when we have more information. Hope your journey is going well too. What house designs are you looking at? Metricon Grandview28 is our favourite at the moment Re: Building a 26-28sq house on a corner lot 11Jul 21, 2017 10:02 am hunter_home CK_ @hunter_home Hi I hope your journey is going well. Metricon Grandview28 is our favourite at the moment Ooh I just had a look at the Grandview28 I love how wide it is and will look great on the block. Although I think I want to have the master at the front of the house. We have looked at a few houses and cant decide; originally we really liked the Dennis family Homes Mortllake727 with an extended master and altered en-suit. However since seeing a display home we are concerned about restricted light. Dont think it is the best orientation after all. Love the Providence con is that it is huge and we would end up with no yard space. And not sure on the budget. :/ We are also trying to fit under $300k. We're now tossing up between Mantra26/28 from Metricon (found out that we can't fit Grandview on our block) and Havana28 from MJH. People seem to like the Havana layout from my other thread/post. Deep down I think I like the Havana too as now we can't have the Grandview. The dilemma is because we can get a lot more house for similar price with Metricon.
