I agree, I think the cleaner will be worth it. Your new home will take enough of your time up as it is I'm going to hire a van/truck for my move. I will coordinate to pick up my new appliances and furniture that day too which will mean I'm saving on multiple delivery costs - makes it easier to justify the truck hire expense First home builder - Brightwood Estate, Baldivis. Follow my build here I thought about doing the same but we haven't decided on furniture yet The cheapest truck i could get on a Saturday was $200 plus fuel (i swear i paid a lot less last time I rented one). If i get a removalist on a weekday they seem to charge around $100 per hour for the truck and two guys. I reckon i can get all the big items loaded and moved in a 3 hour rental window so it's not gonna make much difference price wise. If we can decide on some furniture before the move though it might be more worth while hiring the van. I ordered my theatre couch the other day and they will hold until I'm ready First home builder - Brightwood Estate, Baldivis. Celebration Homes. Follow my build here yeah, we are planning to go look at some house stuff on the weekend so might nip into a couple of furniture places if we have time just to see if anything takes our fancy. Main items are the couch for the theatre and the new bed. We are probably gonna order our new mattress online but need a new base to go with it. We've also given our couch, TV unit, coffee table and bar stools on my nephew who's about to move into his first place by himself so we'll also drop those off at the same time.
