Thanks I really like the planter boxes (wooden). Gives the garden some height which i like, because my land is flat it would give it some character. Is it possible to make planter boxes or garden beds that look like that with sandstone??? even if the yard is flat? would that be hard? Living in Caloundra Thread****** Lovin my house all finished!!! Sandstone walls/garden bed boarders are widely used in Perth. We have all different sizes of sandstone blocks from skinny, small ones to hige im. long and I think 30cm thick that can only be lifted by a bobcat/crane thingo . My daughter's ex built planter boxes from the skinny ones, I think they were 15 cm thick, it looked good and it was on a small concrete foundation. I might find some pics so will post them here.
