We picked PGH Stone bricks, with flush off white mortar. We have since had random rapid bursts of work which is good but they always seem to be playing catchup. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13947Jul 05, 2017 9:28 am My experience is when they start to fall behind on the build they never catch up. All you can do is keep on to your SS to make sure they don't lose more time. Demand dates for everything, so if your SS says that bricks are starting next week get an exact day and a completion day. You have to manage your build much more than you would expect to do as a customer. We've asked for dates and day and been told one thing and then another happens. Even our neighbours have raised an eyebrow at how long things have taken lately. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13949Jul 05, 2017 9:40 am Hey guys, can someone tell me, the ceiling light fittings that M provide as standard, are they bayonet or screw fittings? I've come across some cheaper LED bulbs and thought I might grab a few ready for move in. Don't want to buy the wrong fitting. Thanks. I think we might do the same - PGH Stone with Flush Off White! Save a little money on upgrading to the darker Sapphire brick range! A really nice neutral canvas to start from. Our budget just couldn't accomodate an upgrade on bricks (apparently I have expensive taste everywhere else). Our local Council wants us to do that much landscaping, I thought paying extra for bricks was a bit of a waste as the front of our house will be largely obsecured with native planting!! One negative to our brick choice, I've found it really hard to get a true picture of the brick colour, it looks different in different light (as you'll see from the photos below). All of these photos are the same brick, PGH Stone with flush white mortar - Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ KDR Masterton Harmony Elite + custom granny flat Aug 2015 - Deposit paid Dec 2015 - Contracts signed Feb 2016 - Colours appointments Mar 2016 - DA submitted Jun 2016 - DA approved Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13954Jul 08, 2017 4:31 pm Hey All, after your opinions ... Here are pics of my Alfresco space, followed by pics of the two tiles I'm considering using (will be tiling after handover). Tell me which tile you'd pick? My internal flooring is a white concrete look tile, so I'd like the Alfresco flooring to contrast with my mostly white/neutral interior. The first one will be more of a contrast though, so if that's what you're after, then maybe that one will tick that box? The second one will tie-in with the neutral tones inside .......which is why I would probably go with the second one - I like things to co-ordinate! I like the second one. We've decided to go with the Espresso Brick in the Sapphire range so we can get some contrasting render features! Does anyone know what switches Masterton uses? Is it HPM/Clipsal/Legrand? Just looking at options at the moment!
