Submitted our VicSmart application forms to Melbourne Water last week, so hoping that will come through shortly, then it's in the hands of the demo company and Metricon

Melbourne Water is 28 days and then the council has 2 weeks from lodgement and from our experience they stuck to the timeline! Yeah, we have 24 days left with Melbourne Water, then 10 with council... D-Day is July 10th... In one day, the electrical was stripped from the roof space, all asbestos removed, any salvageable items removed including floor boards Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building Bayside : Design Change... 66Jul 17, 2017 10:45 pm We went past the display on Dendy St on the weekend, and love the bathroom tiling, but not at $28 per tile... After quite a few months, we've decided to build a Glendale 45 with Metricon, with the Chateau facade, and very few changes. We're widening the garage to accommodate our toys, and evening up two bedrooms so the kids have a slightly bigger bathroom, and equal sized bedrooms. I did all of our externals and electricals last week, and we did our internal selections today, and changed a bit of our externals (namely our bricks)... Outside selections are: Glenfern bricks Basalt colorbond roof, gutters, downpipes and garage door Monument Awning Windows - all with 175mm infill 1020mm pivot entrance door in Walnut Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Kitchen/butler's selections are: Osprey bench surfaces Ghostgum lower doors/drawers - we have LOTS of drawers Natural Walnut overhead doors and dual oven tower - all overheads have been increased to 880mm, and we'll have 2x 600mm ovens in the tower - at this stage Asko Pro Series 7's to carry stainless steel as our metal elements Brushed Silver kickers Crystal White glass splashback that I can't recall the colour name of Our bathroom selections are: Oyster bench tops Polar White Cabinets Kids basins - American Standard Cygnet Kids taps - Mizu Bliss Basin Mixer Powder and Ensuite basins - Ideal Standard Active Powder and Ensuite taps - Mizu Bliss Wall Mixers Shower Rails - Nikles Fresh Shower Mixers - Mizu Bliss Toilets - American Standard Cygnet (closed back) Walls: Snowy Mountain 1/2 wash and wear Ceilings: Lexicon 1/4 matte Skirts/Arcs: Lexicon 1/4 gloss Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Flooring: Spotted Gum for all of the downstairs - currently seeking external quotes for laminates as the price to go with M blew out terribly when we realised that the product quoted in our prelim quotes wasn't able to be laid the way we were promised by our sales consultant. Carpets upstairs - will be a shade of grey - undecided at this stage, as we are also pricing externally. Ended up going with Metricon for flooring, as I got an independent quote from a mate I've known for nearly 40 years who was nearly double the price.... Admittedly he was going to use a better product, but without a 20 year warranty, we're prepared to spend less! All laminate flooring will be installed under cabinets and skirting per contact, which was the only deal breaker we had Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building Bayside : Design Change... 74Aug 10, 2017 8:44 pm Sounds great Drew.
