The light was bouncing around and making it hard for my phone camera to pick it up. I'll make sure the SM gets someone in to add another coat. Would they need to add another coat all over or just to this pillar? Depends if it's just the pillar you're not happy with... However, they are there for a reason - to protect the edges and then the render along the wall. If they didn't use them, a corner can easily chip and then that can chip can carry on along the rest of the wall. Exactly Building Standards; Getting It Right!
