I'm getting used to them, but they definitely aren't as nice as the slimline impress. We have a mix of SC2000 Slimlines and Impress LED lights. Just wondering if they'll tell us to re-select, or if they've already ordered them. Yes we had the others in our contract. We weren't notified of the change, but were supposed to have been. These were just installed instead. I was a bit peeved and tried to get the other ones, but our SM said it's because the impress switches and slimline plates were cracking and breaking after about 2 years of use so they changed to a more durable product. Sounds like BS to me... My folks have them in their B&B and the plates are fine, as are the impress switches. It's the Clipsal 2000 switches themselves that have been failing... Not a big deal, but I've found when I swap them out to HPM switches in the Clipsal plate they never fail again... I'm certain we requested three phase, yet we've been quoted a single phase unit We are doing the solar prep, but will most likely go 10kW and a Z-Cell rather then Powerwall Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building with Metricon 5339May 20, 2017 10:01 am Drew01 Renman You can get the Iconic ones with the impressed functions too. I'm certain we requested three phase, yet we've been quoted a single phase unit We are doing the solar prep, but will most likely go 10kW and a Z-Cell rather then Powerwall The new Que is a single phase unit but you still require to have 3phase in your house. Que will run off on one of the phases. It's a smaller (19kw) unit compared to the 3phase (23kW) one that they have now. Had hoped that they will come out with a more powerful one later on. I was told that if they do come out with a more powerful one that they would allow us to upgrade it when the house is close to completion. At least the Que has all new touchscreen and comes with built it wireless remote access. With a saving off $3k as well. PM if you want to get a copy of the quote.
