I don't see any spaces next to any of the showers (except the main upstairs bathroom which we asked for the bath to be removed and to put two vanities and increase shower size slightly so there should be space next to that shower theoretically. My build - viewtopic.php?t=87470 I have the same problem with ours. We've enlarged the ensuite shower so that wall space is gone. The only spare wall is visible from the bedroom Re: Metricon Vantage 13Apr 21, 2017 11:31 am blackcat20 emmyawards One thing I am stumped with. Where the heck am I gonna put towel racks? My build - viewtopic.php?t=87470 Re: Metricon Vantage 14Apr 21, 2017 12:53 pm We had same problem. You could do what we did and put a heated towel rail on the wall to the left (or right of the bath), and a hook on the nib wall next to the shower. Just remember to put your towel on the hook before you get in the shower! I'm planning to ask if we can swap the vanity and the bath around (so I can have a bigger vanity mirror and a bigger window). Your idea of towel racks above the bath will work even better then. We extended our garage with the workshop option, but we also widened it on the house side. This meant we had a mudroom with a cupboard for coats and shoes when you came in the house. Looking at your plans, you could widen your garage (assuming you have room on your block) and turn the broom cupboard around. We also built with M too and cost $3,850 to widen the garage from the house. We also put in a laundry sink and cupboards as well. The extra storage space in the garage is fantastic too. We have actually widened the garage so our shoes will go along the side or the back. My build - viewtopic.php?t=87470 For our ensuite we just added a shelf going right across under the vanity where you can put towels under. If you can't put towel racks there that might be another option for you. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Metricon Vantage 20Apr 21, 2017 6:08 pm Your plan is really nice Emmy. You should be able to fit a double front door (820mm wide each door) if you forfeit the side windows on each side of your door.
