Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Apr 10, 2017 5:23 pm Hi everyone. Please be gentle with me, my first post! Would love any opinions from those color and paint experts, its doing my head in. Just about to do a full kitchen replacement and colours are driving me nuts. We have chosen the basic colours and have also seen them in a display home that we absolutely love. Our home is very earthy, we don't have or want any black and white, its kind of tribal style, as we have lots of pieces from Africa. So our plan is to have Ceasarstone Dreamy Marfil bench tops, perfect with our colors, and Hog Bristle paint on the walls, as we saw in the display home. We would like to have 2 pac cupboard and drawer fronts, also HB, because we really like the look of the walls and kitchen cupboards all monotone, have had this before and it looks really lovely [imho]. My worry is full HB on the cupboard fronts, and I wondered if anyone has seen this done with full HB on the walls and half HB on the kitchen drawers and cupboard fronts, and if so do the colors throw pretty close to each other?? Or how does it look? The Marfil is not really quite as yellow toned as the paint Would love any opinions from those color and paint experts, its doing my head in. We originally were having Dulux Grand Piano throughout as we liked the green base tone, but having seen HB display home, we really want to have this on our walls and now thinking the GP is a bit too grey/cool for us I may be able to attach some photos if I figure out how, but our home is a large apartment, with living dining and kitchen all in one huge space approx 4.5 by 18m long, full glass at each end, facing east and west. Splashbacks not yet decided. Thanks so much in advance for any thoughts! Thanks for the suggestion. The space between shower and sinks was too tight. I agree about the toilet location. So I have tried two other options: The lower one is… 3 6140 these look like missing batts. Go up and take a look. But yeah moisure meter is a completely different tool 4 9458 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7165 |
