Oh wow! I don't think that is acceptable at all. It may be a big job and hold you up, but that would annoy the hell out of me everyday! I guess the real question here is, what can you live with?

It was the stuff that we weren't quoted for that was a shock. Mainly things on the outside like the bricks above the windows to the front of the house, off white mortar, timber look cladding for the facade etc. It all just added up really quickly. We had a $3000 allowance and I thought it would come in at 4500ish. It ended up being $8600! Ouch!
