Still a bit of grouting to go but they are damn fast!!! Stoked with the outcome so far, can't wait to see the rooms take shape even more!! Building Majestic 40 - wisdom homes Wow mrsllamas those wet areas look amazing! That shower looks like you could have a disco in there, the tile is fab! Looks really classy. Are u happy with how they have come up?! Haha yeah it's super disco HAHA I wanted mosaics like the display - pic below- but they are so expensive (and a pain to clean!) so opted for these instead. I was a bit worried I'd gone a bit TOO disco but they actually look more toned down than I expected hahaha Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Really happy with our tiles- looking forward to see it with mirrors and bench tops soon! Fiancé and I are just starting this process, we requested a tender yesterday! Was told it will be between 4-6 weeks so fingers crossed they get it right the first time! Pretty excited right now, can't wait to get to the building stage (I know we still have a long while to go!!) Welcome! Just a heads up- your tender may take double that time. We requested tender at the start of October and are just at contract signing stage, with one tender revision before acceptance, and one revision after the first set of working drawings. You will read mostly happy customers on here though- Wisdom have a great reputation for quality builds, and generally quite quick in the construction phase! What house are you building? We are building the Monte Carlo 40. M Building Monte Carlo 40- Wisdom homes Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 4854Mar 26, 2017 8:52 pm gfernz- congrats on site scrape, how exciting! Looking forward to seeing your build. Hopefully we will only be a few months behind you. MrsL- Tiles look FAB!! You are getting so close now. Congrats on handover kirst10, and sorry you were given some unfair treatment in the last week. Have you got pics to share yet? Oz- I went for a squizz at Vista Park yesterday, the bricking isn't finished in that house there yet, maybe 2/3 done...so hopefully a day or 2 of sunshine and they can get it done and back to yours. We have our revised tender and working drawings so good to sign contracts now. Hoping we will get that done this week and the remaining appointments done the week after as we go on holiday in 2.5 weeks. The issue will be fitting it all in on my days off work with hubby working away most of the time. aargh. But so happy to be that bit closer to building. We settle on our land on tuesday, so pretty good timing. If you can get all that sorted before your break, you'll be feeling great about those accomplishments. Hopefully it all goes smoothly for you over the next couple of weeks, then you'll be in the home stretch for the admin process (although the home stretch is still longer than one would hope) Re my build; That's good to hear that it stacks up with what the SS told me on Friday, in that the brickies were expected back mid week. Weather looks ok early this week, but the rains expected back later in the week. I drove past our site today, and its still very wet. The scaffold is up, so now looks like a true ugly building site. Oz. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 4858Mar 26, 2017 9:48 pm Oh no I hope that's not the case! Here's to wishful thinking they get it right first go!!
