Did you guys request for sealing the concrete separately, or was that included in the initial quote? As for my build, we got hit up with the fixing invoice this morning, so looks like not more to go now! Thanks qldben. The concreter asked if we'd like the seal for extra $600 (he said it's going to make the driveway look good for a long time) and hubby thought it's a good thing to have. Hopefully it's worth the money. Definately worth sealing, it will help stop mould and staining especially with exposed aggregate. I'm actually feeling a little sad that our building journey has come to an end (I'm weird). Throughout this journey with M we have also forged an unusual friendship with our SM.. just when we've gotten to know him better it's time to say goodbye. Hubby has said if we ever get the chance to build again we'd like to have him as our SM again. The thought of leaving and selling our current house of 5 years, the house that our kids have lived in since the day they were born is making me sad.
