I think if the walls are bold the furnishings/accessories need to be very neutral and minimal or vice versa. If you don't like the white walls, maybe pick up a grey shade from the chevron stripe... but realistically, are you going to have this same quilt cover on all the time? It will eventually wear out and you will replace it. If you pick a neutral colour you can match other linens to the wall too. Grey, white and beige go with lots of colours as your tastes change. you could also pick a dark shade of neutral to make the bed pop.
