Oh why is that? ids it too dark? Our estate actually wont allow a lighter brick, yet so many people have used lighter bricks so I am confused as to what they do or dont allow!
Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 208Mar 06, 2017 2:20 pm vintay68 stayxtrue Starting to get really annoyed with Henley, we paid our second deposit over 2 weeks ago and still no contact from admin... it's starting to look like our block will title early and we won't be ready to start building We have fallen in love with Henley and that's almost the only reason why we haven't decided to go elsewhere! But if something doesn't happen soon then we may have to look at some other builders Hi stayxtrue, You need to follow up closely with your admin or sales. There's been staff reshuffling and they might overlook on this. Moreover, current wait time is about 4 to 6 weeks. Try to arrange all appointments at once. That is colour, tender, electrical and contract. Thanks Vintay. our SC has advised us of this, so well aware but I keep pressuring them to assign me an admin, however we still dont even have an admin to chase things up with. Our Sales Consultant is that busy that it can take weeks to get an appointment! Its turning out to be a very slow and not so pleasant process.. Our block looks like it could very well title early and we would like to have everything in order ASAP as we want to be moving into our house before our wedding, but at this pace henley are going to take months to even get us to any sort of next step.. I understand that they are busy, but I have heard of other people having admins within days of paying the second deposit I guess I will just have to try and get onto my Sales Consultant to see if I can apply some pressure Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 209Mar 06, 2017 2:37 pm stayxtrue vintay68 stayxtrue Starting to get really annoyed with Henley, we paid our second deposit over 2 weeks ago and still no contact from admin... it's starting to look like our block will title early and we won't be ready to start building We have fallen in love with Henley and that's almost the only reason why we haven't decided to go elsewhere! CH had trade shortages and are slowly getting back on track, Metricon are the same, too many sales from last year. you'll notice the huge price hikes from builders, they're trying to slow it down. Hoping your journey is hassle free and by the time you start things are back to normal Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 210Mar 06, 2017 2:43 pm Emmz70 Thanks Vintay. our SC has advised us of this, so well aware but I keep pressuring them to assign me an admin, however we still dont even have an admin to chase things up with. At this point I am just hoping they get us in before our block titles which is june, but at this rate it could be earlier. I am hearing that they have started to book colours and tenders into may now! This isnt giving me much hope of starting after we title, which is quite disappointing since we put down a deposit back in August last year and I feel like as second time henley buyers they havent made us feel like we did last time Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 211Mar 06, 2017 2:52 pm stayxtrue Emmz70 Thanks Vintay. our SC has advised us of this, so well aware but I keep pressuring them to assign me an admin, however we still dont even have an admin to chase things up with. It's ironic how things have dramatically changed from when we signed in 2015. They tried to book you in following week (panic stations) and months before our tender stage lol Then last year a very long process Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 212Mar 09, 2017 7:58 am Emmz70 stayxtrue Emmz70 Thanks Vintay. our SC has advised us of this, so well aware but I keep pressuring them to assign me an admin, however we still dont even have an admin to chase things up with. However if we don't like the look of the bottom bricks we will render it later The roof, gutters facias will be monument and tossing up between the windows being black and monument as well. It could slightly change but we are starting to become fairly solid in this decision Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 214Mar 09, 2017 8:26 am stayxtrue So as there is a delay with Henley we decided to head into austral for a colour match appointment, so far we are going to go with truffle and offwhite morter, Daniel Robertson - 50mm hawthorn black (depending on price) for the pillars and then rimless grey for the top render and the garage door will most likely be dune. PD has advised that if we can guarantee our block will title on time then they can go to site in July! So we are not seriously considering giving Henley the flick! But PD does end up being all round more expensive so a few deciisions to be made now Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 217Mar 13, 2017 1:21 pm [quote="stayxtrue"]So due to henley being quite delayed we are now looking into some different builders. My hesitation with PD was its 7 years structural guarantee being only the minimum whereas there are many other builders who offer more. How bout Carlisle as they guarantee build time? We are expecting land to title in May, but am concerned Henley may provide further delays due to what I've been reading on this forum due to high demand. Our contract was signed last October. Good luck on your search if you go to another builder. [quote="stayxtrue"]So due to henley being quite delayed we are now looking into some different builders. We are going to give henley another week or 2 but tenders are now booking out until june and we still dont have an administrator assigned to us!! So things are starting to get a little bit delayed to a point that we have no contact at all! Re: Henley - Building the Sahara Lux Q1 219Mar 13, 2017 1:54 pm What PD floorplan are u looking into?
