Same thing with our toilet roll holders and towel rails. M are going through Reece but adding builders margin Metro 32 KDRB Bayside Melbourne viewtopic.php?f=31&t=84012 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 95Mar 03, 2017 10:17 am Doulton777 Doulton777 Special_K So when they charged you RRP was that including their builders margin of 30%? Or was this on top? What's RRP? Is that recommended retail price? If so on my appliances I was surprised. I went to smeg and picked something way different. M just charged us the price they quoted us on. I thought they would add their bit on top. Also I notice that some of the upgrades they don't put their 30% on it. Like for instance the sinks. I upgraded to the Pete evens 6620. They charged me the price it is online. Except the colour consultant forgot to put it in. And now I'm chasing it up. Let's see if they stick to the same price. D777, Did they offer you the entire range at E&S ? I'm looking at the studioM price list and its a very limited range. But I also don't know any builder that doesn't. That's where they make their money Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 97Mar 03, 2017 4:09 pm Special_K Doulton777 Doulton777 [quote="Special_K"] So when they charged you RRP was that including their builders margin of 30%? I didn't know anything about E&S. plus I didn't get a joinery appointment. They also booked my tile appointment for 1.5 hours. Which was today. I told my csc a couple days ago it's not long enough. So they extended the appointment which I just finished now after 5 hours. So Metricon had to pay for the double session. Some people get their products at cost and others wear the builders margin...and sometimes it's on the same products. Been charged almost double for the same item (before inclusion deduction) definitely feels like we are been played. I originally had the Qasair in my joinery quote but for some reason the consultant told me to go the Sirius SL 906 L EXCEL 850. It was probably because it was a better fit for my rangehood breast. That was $1999. With my Miele appliances Metricon just charged me full retail price. So whatever price was on the Miele store which I was fine with. I know you could get them on sale after handover but I didn't want the headache. So when they charged you RRP was that including their builders margin of 30%? Or was this on top? It was almost 100%.
