Looks like we were the only poor sod to get valued lower on the house. Oh well!
That doesn't sound good . Hope it wasn't too bad.

[/quote] Yeah but at the same time because we had guarantors St. George was pretty much the only bank we could go with. They probably took advantage of the situation but I'm not phased Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 506Feb 24, 2017 9:16 am Our builder has advised we only require an M slab not H slab - so is a saving of $4000.... although the survey site costs aren't in yet.... has anyone had their site costs come back yet? Great news! Hoping ours comes back the same. We could put that into upgrades, ha! Be very careful when you go for the Tiles & Carpet selection with Dilorenzo. If you decide to upgrade from your STD entitlements of tiles and/or carpets make very sure that what you choose is definitely what you want. They have a clause that states that " you are entitled to just 1 Re-Selection prior to acceptance to quotation, any additional changes except due to discontinuation will be subjected a admin fee of $250.00 Of all the suppliers we have dealt with, Dilorenzo is the most unhelpful. The quotes are very vague & prices for upgrades are very high. Phone calls are not returned. You have only 3 business days to confirm acceptance, but if you have queries regarding the quotes they will response with 2 business days!!!! Very one sided! So, be very sure of what you want..... Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 513Feb 27, 2017 9:24 pm Thanks for the heads up cheongsn . Next week we have our appointment with delorenzo. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 514Feb 27, 2017 9:59 pm Titania71 Thank you cheongsn. We had a similar experience with them. We also had a similar experience too - not very co-operative. We wanted to take a sample tile along to our other colour appointments, but were told that a $50 holding deposit would be taken and we had to have it back by 48 hours...it was all too hard! The showroom is open to the public, you could always walk in prior to your appointment and ask what the standard range is for Eden Brae (there's a whole wall with standard tiles). This makes things less overwhelming when it comes to the actual selection day. Everything is there and laid out for you too see. Definitely recommend as my wife and I have already made some tentative choices and at the very least ruled out 90% of options. NC Building: Custom Home Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 516Feb 28, 2017 8:23 am Thank you all. That helps us as we are going for our first color selection appointment this week. Our tiles appointment will be after that. We have already decided our floor tiles and bathroom tiles. Haven't decided on Carpet yet, but I reckon that wouldn't be as hard as choosing tiles. I'm more worried about other color selection, electrical and kitchen appointments. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 517Feb 28, 2017 9:19 am Good luck Titania65 We had our first appointment last week . Sarah was there to guide us for colour selection .She was good and very informative. We asked quotes for the upgrade we need . She said she will send all quotes in 2 weeks . Kitchen selection was the hardest one for us . Hard to decide on what we want to go for . I think get a quote for the once you want atleast .later on you can rule out the once you don't need . We ran out of time for stair selection so they shifted it to second appointment. We also had appointment with cooks for kitchen appliances in our first appointment. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 519Mar 02, 2017 5:25 pm Hi does anyone know the council requirements for fencing and landscaping? Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 520Mar 02, 2017 7:48 pm Welcome proverb3130, Not sure about council requirements on fencing or landscaping for Piccadilly but looking at Eden Brae Grange looks like anything goes. If we hear anything we will let everyone know. Regards, Silvia? A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 223591 Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 24811 |
