We are considering a small pool but would have access issues after the build which would be more costly... If it's done before beechwood do site survey or contours and it's fully completed it shouldn't be an issue but will delay the build. In the Shoalhaven they advised us that they wouldn't take liability to structures etc within 3mt from the building line. We tried to get a deck done at the same time as the build and it all came down to beechwood WHS and insurance about other non approved contractors on site. If it's fully completed prior I wouldn't see it being an issue as its classified as current works on the block. It was all fenced (?temporary)and everything before build started. In saying that this house has had a lot of delays as their slab was poured the day before ours and is still under construction now. Doubt its got anything to do with the pool though. Grace33 Natsi Hi, I was wondering if anyone had approached Beechwood about putting a pool in before the build commences and whether they were open to this? We are considering a small pool but would have access issues after the build which would be more costly... We thought of the same thing when the slab was down. We didnt ask Beechwood but the pool builder said they have dealt with beechwood before and the answer is no. This was on the central coast so not sure if its the same for you. I would ask anyway. We are now going to wait until handover. 20/11/15 - Settled land 06/11/15 - Request 1st tender BH 21/04/16 - Colour Selections and Contracts Signed 31/05/16 - Commencement Letter 24/06.16 - Started work onsite - cut and benching begun Re: Who is building with Beechwood 14299Feb 02, 2017 1:20 pm As promised for the end jan/beginning feb we had our glass splashback installed today.
