Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building at Willowdale 2846Feb 01, 2017 8:07 pm zoeebabyy Thanks Soontir, I have done that also & got those requirements however they also said to me that each area also has there own policies but could not tell me what they were. Going through a company builder they give you a minimum standard where as I am looking at owner builder & potentially pushing those boundaries to the maximum.. if only I could find out what they were Hey zoeebabyy- do you mean the set back for the build? Not sure if you've received an answer and assuming you're talking about the build... I believe you need to have 4.5m at the front and 3m at the back. If you have a 900mm easement and your neighbor does too, then your eaves can't overhang that space - the easement needs to be completely clear. I think eaves are typically 450mm so something to factor in when determining the width of your home. I learnt this the hard way had my heart set on a specific build and then I found that out! With double storeys I think if you have a zero lot then the set back for the second floor is 1.2m on the zero lotted side (I THINK. Can't remember 100%). That's all the info I have from the builders we've visited so far. Hope that helps, hope I was on track with what you wanted ha ha Re: Building at Willowdale 2847Feb 01, 2017 8:14 pm Jenifermarie ChristineA zoeebabyy Hi All, Recently purchased in Stage 15A, anyone else on here heard when they may be settling? Thanks Hi! I spoke to the sales office over the weekend and they are going according to plan, with rego set for sometime in June! That's good to hear I can't wait for the roads to be done so we can finally go and take a proper look at the land. I feel like a zoo animal looking through that chain link fence!! We're on the same street as you Christine, we're at 1508. Jenifermarie ChristineA zoeebabyy Hi All, Recently purchased in Stage 15A, anyone else on here heard when they may be settling? Thanks Hi! I think i saw my street 😊😊😊 Re: Building at Willowdale 2851Feb 01, 2017 8:37 pm Thanks to all that have posted tonight & for the feedback! It's been helpful. Also for that video! I literally found my block & the whole area is looking amazing, things like this make me excited Cheers to Willowdale Re: Building at Willowdale 2852Feb 02, 2017 2:12 pm Jenifermarie Ab8884 I'm in Vulcan Ridge, Lot 5010... Anyone know what stage this lot is in? Vulcan Ridge is a separate development by a different company, so it doesn't belong to any of the Willowdale stages. Ohhh OK.
