Browse Forums Building A New House Re: First Home - Mango Hill, QLD 12Dec 30, 2016 1:31 pm butters7388 innerbloom those are some nice selections! at my work we've started using the cobalt brick on some of our houses, it looks quite good, especially with the basalt roofing. monument window frames would work pretty well with those too, although i've heard they can get quite hot to touch in the summer. Are you south east qld based? Any examples of cobalt and Basalt you could point me to so I can check it out? i believe we've used it before up in the hervey bay area, but nothing completed down in our area. we do have a couple two storey's under construction, and by the time i'm out on site again early next year i should be able to have a couple photos for you if you like. Waiting to get our plans in to the private certifier who returns to work on the 16th. Hopefully he knocks it over pretty quick and we can get a site start late Jan / Early Feb. Re: First Home - Mango Hill, QLD 16Jan 27, 2017 1:45 pm Council approved plans were received on Tuesday, at which point our 14 week contract commenced. Site cut should be happening today with plumbing and underslab works next week. Slab pour is booked in for 8th Feb. Re: First Home - Mango Hill, QLD 17Jan 27, 2017 3:23 pm How exciting! We're building in Moreton bay as well at Joyner - we look at Capestone but decided it was too far from the kidlets school. Subscribing for updates ? Re: First Home - Mango Hill, QLD 19Mar 03, 2017 6:38 pm Been a while since I have updated on this so here goes. Our block was cut on the 28th January and then we were held up because the developer had not completed the final survey works. Finally after a two week delay we were able to get our survey completed and ready for site set out and underslab plumbing. Another week or two later and we had plumbing in the ground on the 24th Feb.
