Re: First Build Experience -GJ 202Dec 27, 2016 7:02 pm Yes I feel you, my money is flying out of my account before I can replace it lol GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: First Build Experience -GJ 203Dec 27, 2016 8:21 pm Definitely and the amount of expenses you have for a empty site is ridiculous! Follow my build viewtopic.php?t=83885 Re: First Build Experience -GJ 204Dec 27, 2016 8:26 pm Yes I pay $300 a qtr for rates Are you starting to think about packing? GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Re: First Build Experience -GJ 205Dec 27, 2016 8:33 pm Yeah rates and water access charges of $300! Packing I want to but it's too early we are expert packers considering we've been renting for years, we can pack the house in a week really but prob start in February so far away Follow my build viewtopic.php?t=83885 Re: First Build Experience -GJ 206Jan 19, 2017 6:31 pm So no real updates once fixing stage has past there aren't any scheduled meetings onsite so hard to know what's progressing. We get our weekly calls but it's hard to take it all in it's kind of rambly and mumbled. So from what I understand painters are in, everything's wrapped for this, cupboards have been swapped, electrical will be in after painters and plumbing fit off. Then the carpenters have to finish installing shelves in linen. Carpet and turf on front yard is all we are waiting on now. Doesn't seem like it would take long but we've been told it will be right up to the end so 8 weeks. Secretly hoping it's sooner. Actually it's not a secret everyone knows it!! Will try and get to block this weekend and sneak a look in windows Re: First Build Experience -GJ 207Feb 01, 2017 8:09 pm I'm hanging out to see more pics - otherwise known as Kym - Re: First Build Experience -GJ 208Feb 04, 2017 8:52 am needsausername I'm hanging out to see more pics Haha I haven't been onsite in a few weeks! I feel like there's no point at the moment we are locked out painting has probably only just finished and electrical probably started so don't think I'll see much progress until near the end as they cruise along But on a lighter note it's only 6 weeks until handover! Re: First Build Experience -GJ 209Feb 04, 2017 8:54 am Omg. You're a stronger person than I!!! Lol we are over there far too regularly. Although it doesn't help when it's only the next street over from where we are renting lol - otherwise known as Kym - Re: First Build Experience -GJ 210Feb 04, 2017 9:19 am needsausername Omg. You're a stronger person than I!!! Lol we are over there far too regularly. Although it doesn't help when it's only the next street over from where we are renting lol I just don't want to be disapointed like I want to see progress every time and I know they are taking it slow now so no point going to potentially not see anything as we need to look through windows now. But yeah our house is 15min away from current house and not on the way to anywhere we frequent so have to make special trips out there. They did say driveway pour on the 8th so maybe next weekend I'll visit Re: First Build Experience -GJ 211Feb 04, 2017 9:35 am I'll be hanging out for pics then! Haha - otherwise known as Kym - Re: First Build Experience -GJ 213Feb 05, 2017 3:43 pm Ok visited this morning Can see led downlights installed, ceiling fans, air con, painting all done can't see bathrooms so not sure if any progress in there don't think so as painter took 2weeks and they don't have trades on top of others. Not sure about mass pile of dirt/ weeds that's been left out back since site scrape at first they said they weren't doing anything with it, then said they were so anxious to see how tidy the yard gets for handover... do they clean up the whole block generally? I mean we had to for them so I think it's only fair to have it returned the same way... Re: First Build Experience -GJ 215Feb 09, 2017 8:18 pm So my partner went by yesterday as the driveway had been poured so he managed to get inside and take some pics Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ 1 comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: First Build Experience -GJ 218Feb 14, 2017 7:05 pm Woohoo looks amazing!
