Sorry to hear how M seem to be making a bit of a meal of things - it's good that you're on top of it all to catch it! Well, no roofers on site and who can blame them? It is Christmas eve after all. Definitely get the Hebel floor if you can. It is fantastic. Will report on the progress of the hebel install as we go along. Have you researched Harpro? Its cheaper than Hebel and same quality AAC. I had a look, but couldn't easily find the Harpro technical documentation - not the best start for a prospective customer... Did you have an option for using any AAC other than Hebel with M? I wasn't sure about it and how it would be viewed on resale too, so I tried to do as much research as I could on the product. The more I read The more I learned. If you have time, there is on Youtube, a short series of videos by CSR on them building a thermally efficient home. It's great watching and it's broken up into 8 clips of about 10 mins each one. M only use Hebel by CSR. I did try to tell them about Harpro but was told they have a procurement policy in place so I left it there. I have no idea why they'd want to lock into a monopoly for a single product. 2 suppliers are usually better than one right! A smaller supplier may not be able to offer this to M's satisfaction. And then there's the added overhead (and risk) of dealing with another supplier - if you're a volume project builder, then any deviation from the norm is a much bigger administrative (and process, and QA) headache than most people realise. Also, if you're a large customer like M then you'd be able to use your purchasing power to get a good deal with CSR, in exchange for not using any competing products, so the raw price differential is probably non-existent - so from M's point of view, engaging another supplier when they already have an adequate one would mean extra complication for no benefit. The warning is on the sticker on the door too. Second the aluminium powdercoat 6 19361 Hi, can anyone recommend a custom home builder who can build in north east area?
