I've just told hubby he can buy a cruiser and keep the gixxer once we've recovered our bank account from the build. I can't wait. I've thought about getting my Ls for the bike but if you've seen me on a pushy you'd understand my hesitation ![]() - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 868Dec 05, 2016 7:54 am ![]() Hahaha BOU it's funny isn't it. I've thought about getting my Ls for the bike but if you've seen me on a pushy you'd understand my hesitation ![]() Hahaha I actually got my l's recently after months of insisting from my partner and it's scary! I got a cheap little 150cc to practice on but so hard to switch your safe side of the brain off eg lean to corner, don't look straight ahead and coordinating all the pedals and buttons. My partner loves his bike to bits so don't think he'll upgrade for a little while but he does say he wants a hyabusa fairly often... not happening like you said for a while!! Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 869Dec 05, 2016 9:30 am Oh wow! Good on you!!! I told hubby I'd ride a scooter lol So an update for this week is that bricks are finished and waves are scheduled for this week. I'm going to call the SS for a walk through. ![]() - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 870Dec 05, 2016 5:17 pm Yay for bricks! Are they even looking? I see a heap of people on the forum comparing brick alignments lately so I'm hoping it's not common to have issues. Have you got all doors and windows in so you are at lockup? Follow my build ![]() viewtopic.php?t=83885 Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 871Dec 05, 2016 8:05 pm The brickwork alll looks very uniform and neat. To my untrained eye at least lmao. All the windows and aluminum doors are in, front door isn't yet and garage door isn't. Our progress schedule says they consider lockup to be all external cladding (bricks and/or cladding) to be finished, windows and alumiunium doors in and gyprock delivered. We won't have gyprock delivered until after Christmas coz there's no way someone won't steal it. If people are prepared to steal a water meter and one solitary window there's no way they won't take a heap of gyprock. Doh! So technically we won't be at lockup until next year which isn't entirely bad. That means no more progress payments over Christmas lol - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 872Dec 05, 2016 8:22 pm ![]() Oh I had to upgrade to off white from natural and it cost me $1000 ![]() GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 Yet I had to pay to choose something other than off white so stayed with off white. ~Shellby~ GJ Bridgewater 203 11/3/2016 - Site Work Started 29/9/2016 - Handover 142 Work Days 6 Work Days Over https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80174 Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 873Dec 05, 2016 8:26 pm I'm really liking the colours. I'm thinking we may be hit with two progress payments at once if they do the fixing bits this couple of weeks!
