So many estates building near your area along Craigieburn east road. Yep, can't wait for all the terrible traffic!!! Re: Boutique Homes 2924Nov 30, 2016 9:33 pm Frame and slab inspection finished, This is a classic...the kitchen conduit is inside the wardrobe hmmmm how convinient Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 2925Nov 30, 2016 10:02 pm That's rubbish. This is one reason I really don't like the idea of building on a concrete slab. It's a shame they don't give us a choice, but I suppose that's what you get unless you engage a custom builder. Re: Boutique Homes 2926Nov 30, 2016 10:41 pm Hi guys, been reading all the comments, all 293 pages. Finally got to the end. Lots of great info. Just wondering if anyone here is building the Olso? Thanks. Re: Boutique Homes 2927Dec 01, 2016 8:06 am To be fair with Boutique I look at my neighbors build ... Boutique is quite a good build I say there will be issues...but my site is much more clean well planned etc. I also confirmed with Darbecca that they have a pretty good track record and quality. --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 2928Dec 02, 2016 9:59 am Anyone built the hamptons facade on one of the two story house's? I love love the style but i want to see more photos of it finished. Re: Boutique Homes 2929Dec 02, 2016 6:43 pm I had my windows installed with Bradnam ... I read the product review 4 out of 5 said it was horrible...any feedback from the other home owners who has Bradnam installed ? My windows are 52mm slim type. --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 2930Dec 02, 2016 10:58 pm 7th_Cavalry I had my windows installed with Bradnam ... Noticed it today. The quailty seems good up close but we haven't lived with them yet so I guess we will have to wait and see. Re: Boutique Homes 2931Dec 03, 2016 12:03 pm Bedrooms are all double glazed and home office. My concern is the living area bec it is quite a big size due to developer requirements it is a monolith glass with 4mm thick windows I thought the standard is 6mm thick ? --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 2932Dec 03, 2016 11:39 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi guys, we are building the Olso 29 and we just had our slab poured and noticed an extra plumbing pipe in our kitchen. It is against the wall where the kitchen window is. (closest in photo) There is no required plumbing in this area as it is only a bench, cupboards and draws. Does anyone know what this could be for? The only thing I can think of is for the kitchen window, but that's really make sense. Any ideas? (the other pipes in the photo are for the island bench and the butler's pantry, then in the distance for the master ensuite). Did anyone else notice any random pipes in their build? Thanks. If you saw my post earlier mine was placed inside the bedroom robe area where it was back to back with the kitchen area. Those pipes are conduits not only for water plumbing but it is most probably for gas not sure if it is for power as well...goodluck with your Oslo29 I saw that model house at Greenvale display...that was our 2nd choice after St Tropez. --------------------------------------------- Building a St. Tropez 25 - Boutique Homes Aurora Estate Wollert - Victoria Re: Boutique Homes 2934Dec 04, 2016 8:09 am 7th_Cavalry darrenedwards_henley Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi guys, we are building the Olso 29 and we just had our slab poured and noticed an extra plumbing pipe in our kitchen. Yes. I did see your post the other day. But didn't realise that they were for anything else but plumbing. It could be for power as we asked for lots of power points on that bench and for the cupboards. I will send an email to Boutique Homes and just double check just in case.
