It went something like this: We've got DA approval for the Patio Roof - at last! See home thread for update. Our landscaping is taking a while, but mixing it with work and spending time with the kids, so it will get there. We ordered pavers from Wyong (Stone Masonry), had them delivered for a good price. Ended up being $2.17 per paver including delivery, we got three pallets (about 700 pavers). Spent about 5 months trolling gumtree for second hand pavers. Ended up with two piles of different pavers - neither of which are enough, so took the plunge and just bought them. Will use this one here around the shed (look at their bad quality! I suck at gumtree, too nice to say no once I get there ): Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And this one around the pond as a feature: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Ready for pavers... until hubby went off and googled weed mat under paving and decided he didn't want it there. We concluded he'll be weeding the path! My Dad is a gem, and actually did most of the prep for this part, he put in a pipe & drain under the tap. There's compacted road base under the weed mat. He pushes everything and anything out the house onto it, then gets stuck trying to bushwhack it around the back to the rear patio. He'll be stoked when it all links/ goes somewhere You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14021 Hmmm, I have checked your past posts and it seems that you are in NSW, not WA as I had thought. It pays to show your State in your avatar. Retaining wall regulations… 5 7784 Hi, you've probably already resolved this, however, Commbank will probably pay the funds to you after you send evidence the work is done regardless the change in the quotes. 1 35190 |
