Our supervisor just gave us the tradies numbers and was up to us to organise anything extra with them directly. But we didn't get any external power points though and we did actually get knocked back on some things like wanting to move where the gas bottle point is. That's awesome you got to do a few things- I asked my site supervisor and he was the one who said no you can't- I said that my other friends built with Simonds and they got a call when the electrician was coming so they could do a few extra if they wanted and meet with him and he said it's changed now  they are doing a retaining wall and I can't even have the fence guy in to weld some stuff to it for fences we have to wait:(15 Sep 2016 40 VIC Junior Member Re: Simonds Express Westbury Build 24Nov 17, 2016 10:02 pm From today. Gotta work out if we want to widen the driveway. Also a good addition found to add will be to dig some PVC in a trench under where the driveway will go for any future irrigation or such so will be there doing that this weekend! Are the tiles 300x300mm? Do you love the size? Wife and I are planning to do an express build next year, westbury on premium specs too. The only thing that bothers me is the tile size. I ask Simonds if we can upgrade the size to 450x450mm and as expected, it's a big "No". It was approx. $4500 extra. We did push for and got a credit back for the carpet of approx. $1300. We're very suited to the Express build I think - like we just wanted "a house" not fussed about anything with it really. I do like the tiles and like others going with dark grout with these tiles. In that way, we are looking around $3500 additional cost for the tile variation. Excited for your black limestone..
