It says 'completed' so I've written back to them to say it's not completed therefore I'm not paying the invoice until it is. Waiting to get a response. NJC, same happened to us, the capping (ridge) was not installed for a month! after we got the roof invoice. I did not pay it until the entire roof was done. 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12594Nov 08, 2016 1:13 pm ![]() sandra 2016 re:M just after $$$ I'm sure it varies by office and customer/agent but I've actually found them extremely honest. Congratulations to everyone who recently got the keys or about to have them. Our PCI has been postponed several times. I took it to Fair Trading. OFT inspector is coming on site to discuss the outstanding work next week. Hopefully the inspector can issue an order for them to finish the work in a reasonable time. Had an argument with our SS, who accused me of "distorting his words" and "trying to set him up" and asked that all our communications are going to be via email only. Sent him a number of emails, which he ignored. (I guess this was the only reason why he wanted emails as they are easy to ignore). Escalated this BS to his manager, who is coming this Friday for a PCI (not confirmed yet). Gosh! I will make sure none of my friends build with these evil clowns. Will see how our bricks go and keep you updated? Has there been anything further with your concerns over the brick blending? Perhaps yours is a blend of the old and new? When we were first looking at brick options, back in June/July/August 2015 the helpful PGH people told us that PGH Cement had just been renamed PGH Stone and was a tone or two different. When we were first looking at brick options, back in June/July/August 2015 the helpful PGH people told us that PGH Cement had just been renamed PGH Stone and was a tone or two different. I emailed our SS asking him to put his stand on the issue in writing. Our CC responded saying, "this is a natural material, so some colour variation is normal". Our SS said the same in a phone conversation, so I wanted this in writing to avoid any accusations of "distorting his words". I responded saying, I take it as your refusal to fix it. Got an email from our SS saying: "As previously mentioned on several occasions (BS, he never mentioned this) I will review the brickwork in question and advise, I never refused to repair if required." Few days later I emailed him asking what was the outcome of his review and he ignored this email along with others. I sense a guilty conscience, so will be taking it up with OFT. 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 12599Nov 09, 2016 9:30 am NJC, your bricks are still wet, so it is hard to tell. Please post some pics a week after they finish the brickwork. I can already see however, that the bricks having different colour are not uniform, that means it is just moisture, not the colour variation. 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks 4 17338 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16975 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20918 |
