With so many things happening in the background and the holidays looming, I am expecting April 2017 start for anything related to construction. There are other blogs where ppl are still struggling to get through paperwork and approvals after June Rego. So guys not sounding too pessimistic but don't hold your guns ! Re: Village Square Edmondson Park Stage 16 457Oct 17, 2016 9:52 am This weekend went to a lot of builders for quote, every builder quoted me 30-50k extra for land fill and lifted slabs for land being a bit sloppy. Did you guys got the same quote from the builders? Did you guys got the same quote from the builders? Was in the same boat @sammarah Builders quoting from 15K to 70K. Did not know what to do and was really repenting the decision to build. Had arguments with vogue homes and CSB on the same. What may help you here is the contour map of your stage and then ask them the breakup of each item (like landfill, drop edge beam etc) and then take it and compare. I will be surprised if any of the builders will give you that having not locked with any one of them yet but worth a try. Let me know how you go. Also, if the land is really sloppy then can't help much but then try to check with ppl having similar slopes which might give you an idea. Dont forget retaining walls, cut and fill, excavation costs etc. Aint gonna n cheap!. No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6647 The fastest thing a builder will do is bank your cheque, those systems work perfectly with lightning speed, everything else is slow burn. Just the way it is. 1 9567 |
