Are you doing downlights by Henley or after handover? We got the luxury pack, but I added an extra junction box on the frontage as there was nothing on the far edge study wall, so we put another one there, just to even it all out. It's one of the reasons I was particular about the block we chose and also a house plan that allowed light to come in. Did you notice this as well? Do you mean the portico space or internal entry? The internal entry I have since confirmed that it ends up being 600mm longer! A little over half a metre doesn't seem much but it definitely will make a difference with a massive 2400 x 1200 pivot door! Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 194Oct 16, 2016 7:47 am Hi, do you know when to apply for unconditional approval? Is it after signing contract or close to when land titles as we sign contract next week but land is now not titling til Feb/Mar. From what I know you can apply for it once land titles and contract is signed. It may depend on your broker/bank though, probably best to check with them. Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 196Oct 16, 2016 9:50 am We applied for finance with our broker same day after we signed contracts. Our land had settled that same week. Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Good news the bickie was quietly working away on the upstairs!! Thanks redpixel and pearz, broker advised to ask Henley to sign contract subject to valuation and finance for an extended period, ie. More than the standard 30 days. I will have to ask them for a period of around 4-5mths! Hi mclaren77, What made you go for the Downlights Luxury package rather than do after handover? Some of the reading indicates its cheaper to do after handover. I'm stilld eciding whether to get Henley to do downlights or is it better to do after handover?? Thanks Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 11352 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
