There are so many different options its difficult to be sure which is the best one. Fortunately our lands are not titled yet and time is on your side. We retained the door in butlers pantry to garage but had it opening into the garage. It does make our pantry very busy as it also has opening to laundry using sliding door. Yea we are going to be puting the door to the side as well but closing the butlers off, we will be also putting in the glass door as I find this is just a far better look and all of the displays have it like that so we have decided to do the same thing.
