What stone have you chosen? We have all horizontal handles, at the top of the cupboards/drawers. We have three sizes but all the same style, one for cupboards and regular drawers, a middle length one for the wide drawers and an even longer on for the pantry doors. The pantry ones are the only ones mounted vertically for obvious reasons! We're having wood grain the the bathroom & I had to put it horizontal as well because I couldn't stand them not matching Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 114Sep 22, 2016 11:31 pm Wellard2ndTimers Might be fingerprints on top cupboards, good point we have a light colour wood grain so can't tell on ours. But everyone I know with patterned stone says you see marks on those as well, so I guess it doesn't really matter. I might have to stop working full time because I'll be too busy polishing everything like a crazy person Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 115Sep 22, 2016 11:52 pm My friend has plain white stone in her kitchen and bathrooms, loves it in her kitchen but does wish she had it a little darker in the bathrooms, especially when doing her makeup as it shows up any little spills or powder etc. Must say though, it looks stunning. I'll feel better when I can actually see it in front of me. Atm I'm so unsure, I showed my choices to an interior designer the other day & she loved them & said I had guts.... Lol I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing I'm so nervous about the exterior, but it'll be fine when it all gets going and I can get excited . I'm using a lot of black in the kitchen & black on black tiling in the bathrooms, just hoping it looks the same when it's done as it does in my head Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Follow our HGWA build in Baldivis @ https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=83352&f=31&p=1604334#p1604334 Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 119Sep 27, 2016 10:27 pm Small win today....
