Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building with mojo homes 3Sep 18, 2016 9:48 am Nabrolkellyville We are building the Soul 40 with Mojo Homes in Kellyville Ridge. We love the design and the inclusions and the initial dealings were smooth. The last mont or so there has been very slow progress and no flexibility from Mojo regarding appointments! Had our plan presentation last week for Soul 40 and came across a major issue. We were given the impression that our tender price includes Hebel Floor which was discussed with the sales consultant and also requested in writing and now they say I have to pay extra for the Hebel floor after confirming in writing that the construction is all hebel. Will like to know what you think of below correspondence: 1. Before we paid the deposit I requested in writing to include "Hebel power floor" in the cost of the tender 2. I receive the tender and it says "Hebel Construction" 3. "Hebel construction" is quite general so I wrote back to confirm, below my exact words. "No costing included for level 1 Hebel floor as requested in the doc attached?" 4.Mojo's reply word for word-"I confirm that the whole home is Hebel including all first floor as it is easier for us to do this rather than cladding ok. All hebel." Happy with the confirmation we proceed and now after 3 months at the plan presentation we are told, sorry for the miscommunication hebel is NOT included!! Really disappointed because our land is registered and we are paying two mortgages. This is the last thing I want because my instruction to include Hebel Floor cost and my followup query could not have been more clear. I have proposed a resolution to Mojo and now awaiting their reply..How they handle this will be a good test of customer service!! I will update the outcome on the forum.. 17/07/2016-Deposit Paid 25/07/2016-Selection walk through 28/07/2016-Contour Survey completed 08/08/2016-Soil test completed 11/08/2016-Consolidated Tender Issued 12/08/2016-Consolidated Tender accepted 15/09/2016-Plan Drawings Appointment architect, blogger at homedesignedge.com, Spacesave.co and author of Guide to Planning and Building a Home on a Budget Re: Building with mojo homes 4Sep 27, 2016 9:11 pm sucks mate, but must READ READ READ the CT. I'm still awaiting my CT had a few changes with tender go back and forth.. hoping it arrives soon! 1 month for plan appointment :S - my hopes of submitting to council this year are very slim! Fingers crossed Saw your post on the building with Mojo FB page, don't expect anything useful out of there. Anyone with half a clue about building or anything positive to say gets booted. Joke of a forum page filled with negative nancies who just want to complain and kick the builder... Re: Building with mojo homes 5Oct 05, 2016 10:18 am Bit of An update Received CT and accepted - Have had a smooth flow of communications with my CLO, portal assistant and designer.. Cannot wait to get in there and make our selections. Everything has always been delivered within the given timeframe, sometimes on the final day and others very promptly. So far thumbs up Elle, Kim and Erin. Re: Building with mojo homes 7Oct 12, 2016 11:28 am Start date 30.8.16, already nearly at lockup (this is my dads build of the Mojo 24... we are not having near as much luck with coral homes) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Lindsay & Ben (Building a Noosa 26 at Wallis Creek, Gillieston Heights) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81467&p=1524570#p1524570 Re: Building with mojo homes 8Oct 13, 2016 3:41 pm Lindsay & Ben (Building a Noosa 26 at Wallis Creek, Gillieston Heights) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81467&p=1524570#p1524570 Re: Building with mojo homes 10Mar 20, 2017 10:14 pm 20 lots in our estate were registered at the same time-July 2015. 2 have been completed (owner build), 3 are close to lockout stage and 1 has the roof just done.

But your ceiling height may very well be 2700 Plus the 172mm setdown! So 2.82! Good for storage Yes, u r right. 2125 is the entry clearance. 2700 is our ground level roof and after the 172 set down the garadge height is 2802. Re: Building with mojo homes 19Apr 22, 2017 9:08 am Thats awesone. Alot of the time builders just put the ceiling at 2.7 cause "thats what it says in the contract" even though its more work.. Our last place was 3.2 cause we had a setdown in the garage. Storage kingdom!! Get some racking from bunnings and youd be surprised what it can fit Re: Building with mojo homes 20May 07, 2017 10:08 pm Some recent pics
