That photo-shopped kitchen looks so much better with the timber floor, looks warm and inviting now, I think the original with the all white and then the white tiles looked cold and harsh. Re: Who’s got a question?? 26Feb 04, 2009 8:17 am Sorry everyone….I had computer problems last night.

My tiler has suggested I put the same tiles as I have on the floor as a kitchen splashback ie 600x600 polished recrified porcelain. As the hight difference between the overheads has to be 608mm for regulations with my electric cooktop, he suggested I make it 612mm (which I'm doing) this will enable him to put a full tile with 2mm of grout at the top but have the bottom sittling on a 10mm chrome strip which sits on top of the benchtop. What do you think of this idea. I thought originally he wanted me to put the smaller wall tiles as a spash back not these 600 ones cant picture it really, wondered if it will look like I had left over tiles and wanted to use them up I have the same floor and wall tiles, I like the look, it’s uniformed. It should be very nice!
