Your kitchen is going to be stunning! Building with Simonds in S.A Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - frames/bricks 166Aug 17, 2016 10:51 pm looking great.. any idea as to when your brickwork will commence. ive been waiting 3 weeks now. Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - frames/bricks 167Aug 18, 2016 1:55 am Not sure Chantelle. I was speaking to one of the Fairmont brickies a few weeks ago and he said that there are a few of them working in my area, and they have the same supervisor. So they usually finish up one and move down the street to the next one. They are doing our roof very soon (they said this week), and there isn't much more they could do before bricks begin. Bricks have been delivered for a while now, but no sign of sand for the brickies to start. We did get a bunch wood planks left in the garage yesterday, and there was a guy scoping something out with a ute with a cement mixer on the back. So maybe it was a brickie preparing, or maybe it was unrelated. Going to go down and have a look today and see what's up. Keen to see what has been happening in the last couple of weeks. We have worked so long and hard for over a year to get to this point. Been staring at plans and budgets and spreadsheets for so long, its a good feeling to see the house start to look like what we hoped it would. I will be watching your builds too and sharing the excitement. I have a feeling the last few months will feel really slow and like not much is happening each day Building a Fairmont Custom in Seaford Meadows Our Build Thread Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Brickwork! 178Sep 02, 2016 7:04 pm We drove past your place again today, it's looking so good, the brickwork looked almost complete although the guy doing it looked a bit fed up, maybe it was just because I was gawping out the window at his handy work haha Building with Simonds in S.A Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Brickwork! 179Sep 03, 2016 12:24 am I walked past too looks good and he looked tired yeah Re: Fairmont Homes - Seaford Meadows SA - Brickwork! 180Sep 03, 2016 4:43 am Hmm, not sure why he would be like that. He was pretty cheerful when I talked to him the other day, and pretty nice to my mum when she dropped by on Thursday. Oh well, as long as the brickwork is looking good, then I'm happy Building a Fairmont Custom in Seaford Meadows Our Build Thread Need to remove glass panel out of concrete without wrecking the glass to get the spa room in, any recommendations on how to do that.
