It looks the same as a normal sliding door on the inside. I just looked at the plans (and figured out how to read that part!) and apparently they are meant to protrude 10mm. Bugger, it looks crap! Anyway, hopefully we won't notice it once the outdoor furniture and concreting is done.
Don't you hate when the builder doesn't advise you when they have to do something that might not be practicable. Our builder put our fuse box on the front left of the house with the run in coming in from the front left of the property a total of about 30m. We picked it up not long ago and they were able to move it in to the garage and give us a credit of $500, beats me why they didn't do it in the first place
