It's so exciting to see the streets being carved out from what was just a big block of land only months ago! Me too. A December settlement will be the best Christmas present ever... The below photo is Oberon Street...although I didn't get a chance to walk on the street this time around. Does anyone know what the pegs are for? Are they already marking the frontages for each lot? I did some very basic measuring between the pegs and they are equal distance so they could not be marking each block. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 151Aug 15, 2016 12:35 pm Cool, that makes sense. There will be cement down our streets in no time! Fantastic to see the progress achieved from the weekend. Spoke to Steve from Arris Group(he was checking on the work) said that provided we get good weather all work should be finished by December and then is in the hands of council and lands title for registration. Huge amount of materials being delivered and lots and lots of pipes for the drainage. Work being done on Kunic and Oberon Streets. Does he know how long the registration will take with the council? Hopefully not as long as the initial approvals etc. First Home Buyer | Livingstone 22 Tender accepted 9/10/15 | Contract signed 30/10/15 | Colours selected 29/03/16 Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 158Aug 17, 2016 4:36 pm He does not know but said that it would not take long as it does not have to be looked at by engineers and they have more staff at the council to give the final approvals. But with Blacktown council you never know!! Let's keep our fingers and legs crossed. ? Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 159Aug 17, 2016 10:18 pm Registration goes through the land and titles office, it has been taking approx 3-4 months to get land registered as there is a backlog especially in this area. Fingers crossed it moves through faster though. A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 223474 Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 24807 |
