From my understanding Boutique can
either cancel the contract, which they won't prefer to do in normal circumstances.
or revisit the contract price, this could be about 500$ per month of delay.

I have moved in for 5 weeks now. Quite happy with the house. I try to test my refrigerated aircon to make sure it work. I found there was a tied around the aircon power box outside. I assume that's what it is. See picture. I removed it and switch on. Heard a *clank* and nothing else. I turn the controller to cooling 8* and waited few minutes. Nothing. Went to the unit and the fan is not on. Am I missing something? I am no expert with refrigerated cooling. Best to call Boutique as it would be still under warranty. https://letsbuildwithboutique.wordpress.com Thanks Johanna.ram, contacted them and they said they have passed on my number. Boutique Capri 27 Seabreeze. Passed to construction on 7th Nov 15. Btw, did it cost heaps to get refrigerated cooling? I think Boutique quoted us close to $15,000! This was way out of budget for us. So will be putting in evaporated cooling - not sure if I will feel cool over summer! https://letsbuildwithboutique.wordpress.com Re: Boutique Homes 2647Aug 03, 2016 8:42 pm johanna.ram Btw, did it cost heaps to get refrigerated cooling? Thanks https://letsbuildwithboutique.wordpress.com We got heaps off quotes for curtains and blinds. Decided on curtains with blinds in master and dual rollers in living areas and home office, with single blinds in our spare bedrooms so we can add in either curtains or second blind once we get settled. Used a local company in the Point Cook area called Seabrook curtains and blinds - the owner Geoff was fabulous to deal with. Was here first thing on move In day hanging everything. Approx $5K for the Barcelona 26 (give you an idea of Windows and sizes) Re: Boutique Homes 2652Aug 03, 2016 10:51 pm baneshouse johanna.ram Need help! I know that I want cctv and an alarm, straight away. Newer-estates are pron to break ins. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Good luck!
