If we hadn't of paid extra for the recessed ceiling ours would have looked like yours. We didn't want the plasterboard on the eves but were told we had no choice. I think if I had the money I would do it like Kellie's! Oh well, next build. I hope they come up with a solution you're happy with Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 374Jul 21, 2016 9:17 pm I'd take your alfresco any day Mrs Macca pacca! Once they paint your eaves it will look really good! Sent home group a big email and cc"ed the exec manager into it- still haven't heard back. Hoping for some good news tomorrow. Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 378Jul 27, 2016 6:44 pm kellie_87 Hey Mon how did you go with it all? Not too sure Kellie- our CLO said she's forwarded our letter to the construction manager and that they will look into it. Haven't heard back from them yet. On a positive note- all the grey float is finished and the whole outside has been rendered! So we're plugging along! Hopefully white set and ceilings start next week! Mon Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 379Jul 27, 2016 8:21 pm Mon445 Yeah I know the grey float will cover it, I was just wondering if it's structurally sound and compliant with building standards..fingers crossed the report comes back ok! Mon We had the same thing Mon and building inspector noted down on the report for it to be fixed and they fixed it about 1 week before plastering started Re: HGWA build Burns Beach- 8 months still no slab 380Aug 04, 2016 3:02 pm Lots has been happening! Ceilings in whole house done in a day!!! We had a team of 5! Just pulled up and all the cornices are done too!! Looking fab! Heard back from home group- and of course they said no to fixing the alfresco (so we will have to fix it ourselves after handover) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ So excited about the light trough!
