Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Update & Photos 1566Jul 18, 2016 10:07 am Got our garage door back on finally and they put an even bigger scratch in it. Back to waiting. Not impressed AT ALL. Had a second guy come and 'fix' the leak in our eave. After all the rain over the weekend the leak is worse than ever. We also discovered a tiny bit of water coming in through the flashing on the peak of our entry roofspace. SIGH. Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Update & Photos 1567Jul 20, 2016 7:26 am Hi Kellie, Your journey looks amazing. I actually found this by googling the colours you chose for your render. I am wondering if I could see your house plan please? We are looking at HGWA too. Thanks Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Update & Photos 1568Aug 02, 2016 3:59 pm Kellie, your house looks stunning, well done! Can you please tell me what colour paint you used on the walls? It looks exactly like what I am looking for. Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Update & Photos 1569Aug 08, 2016 10:24 am Still haven't got our garage door sorted because, surprise surprise, they scratched it a third time. This has been going on since PCI on May 2. You can guarantee it wouldn't take over 3 months to organise a garage door for one of their displays. Still have a big leak in the roof despite sending there different people out multiple times to look at it. Also been going on for months. Would I build with HGWA again? Nope. Re: Kellie's HGWA Build 1571Aug 08, 2016 8:50 pm I'm not going to be recommending them either. Plenty of other reputable builders out there that actually charge less than home group and do a much better job. Here's to hoping they fix it for you real soon! Mon Re: Kellie's HGWA Build 1573Aug 09, 2016 8:28 am Oh holy wowza. How terrible!!! You have well and truly had your fair share Terrible about the leak! That's one thing that really troubles me... Because it is really the one part of the build where you just can't see if it's been done correctly and I don't think any private inspector would check that... Yet the ramifications of getting it wrong are disastrous. I really hope it's all sorted soon C U S T O M. C O R A L. The section for the garage was meant to be fitted today. But guess what, they scratched it AGAIN. I can't even believe it. Omg Kel how is this possible I can't believe they can stuff it up so many times Re: Kellie's HGWA Build 1576Aug 12, 2016 12:29 pm Are you friggin serious?!?! How incompetent can they be! Re: Kellie's HGWA Build 1577Aug 12, 2016 1:54 pm wtf Kel that is just getting beyond ridiculous!! What a bunch of incompetent idiots!! Re: Kellie's HGWA Build 1578Aug 12, 2016 4:41 pm Wow how frustrating. Really feel for you.. just terrible that it has been going on for so long now.
