But we're very excited. We're getting painters to paint now. Was looking at Soft apparition but it's a little bluish. Thinking Kitty Grey now. They are starting on Tuesday. Hopefully. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 365Jul 16, 2016 12:20 pm Looks soooo good Robina!! I bet you can't wait to move in! What flooring will you be doing? Envious of your painter! Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 366Jul 16, 2016 2:30 pm MrsMaccaPacca Looks soooo good Robina!! I bet you can't wait to move in! What flooring will you be doing? Envious of your painter! Thanks MrsMaccaPacca We went today to get Kitty Grey but ended up getting Southwards. A bit darker. We had already bought the paint so we had it tinted today and the painter will use it. We made a very quick decision after meeting our painter at the house. OH is very happy about the choice to get a painter. So am I. We are having vinyl planks. Hope they look good. We needed to warm up the kitchen living areas. They're very white. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 368Jul 16, 2016 5:02 pm Looks beautiful! We're going with Kitty Grey but I am looking forward to seeing southwards in your place. I'm looking forward to seeing your house painted and your floors in. Can't wait till we're all finished. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 370Jul 16, 2016 7:49 pm Good move getting a painter in. We have vinyl planks they are great and no problem if the kids spill water etc on them everyone comments on how good they look Your house is looking lovely I hope you really enjoy it. Wish we had your cleaners our windows (outside)are still covered in plaster etc i'm sure they will fix that at maintenance Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 372Jul 17, 2016 10:04 am Petad Good move getting a painter in. Wish we had your cleaners our windows (outside)are still covered in plaster etc i'm sure they will fix that at maintenance I'm glad you're happy with the vinyl planks. We made that choice partly because of our dog and the grandkids and also hopefully they are a bit warmer under feet than tiles. I guess we were just lucky with the cleaners. It does make such a difference. Hope you are enjoying your new house and are settling in. When you get time it would be lovely to see more pictures. Re: HGWA Tuckey Cove house plan 374Jul 17, 2016 8:22 pm Robina - we are having vinyl planks in our new place after putting in the cheap Bunnings vinyl planks in our current home. We've been very impressed with them - they don't get super cold in winter like tiles, they are extremely durable and have handled dog, cat and niece with no problems. The only place they have worn a tad is under the dining room chairs. When it comes time to sell we'll just rip up the few lightly damaged planks and put the spare ones down. Hopefully better quality vinyl planks won't even wear under the constant scraping of the chairs!
