Building with Bentley homes

Anyone has experience building with Bentley Homes? I loved the designs of Kyalami370 ..they are providing the biggest house possible on our block.Just wanted to have some reviews before contract

I'd be interested in this also as we're looking to go with Bentley (the Benson 285). To date our experience with them has been very good, though we're only at the beginning of the process.

We just started building the Ritz 400 with Bentley Homes.
The slab to be poured soon, hard to review at this stage.

It took us 6 months from colours to the actual construction start. Although we had to knock down the old house first, which was quite a lengthy process finally.

Our land settlement is on April. It's good to know there is a thread now for clients building with Bentley! I wasn't able to find much reviews from previous post. I guess we are the possible first gen.

Our colour selection is tomorrow! We have visited Boral, Beaumont and Taubman paints from Bunnings

There were some reviews before. Although not many.
We're about to finish the frame stage in our Ritz 400.

Hi all,

We're planning to build a split level (upslope) benson 285 with Bentley. We had our tender/colours appointment last week and signed off. We're just waiting on contract drawings now. All good so far

Anyone else have any updates on their Bentley build?

Our construction of Ritz 400 in Ashwood is progressing slowly. A whole lockup stage lasts 7 weeks already and still far to go. The roof and the windows are in place.
Currently we're at the brickworks stage, it lasts 3 weeks already, started just after Easter. I was advised by Bentley that the brick will be done this week, but honestly I doubt it as I haven't seen any visible progress this week at all.

it is quite alarming to know that they are a bit slow. we had our initial tender mar. 7 and we immediately gave back our feedback for amendments 2 days after. what should have been a 2week turnaround time became 5weeks. we had to proceed with our land loan settlement first because of this delay. we got our 2nd revision only last week and again we gave our feedback which were so minor (only 5 items in the drawing) 2 days after. we were suppose to sign our contract today, but didn't hear back from them since i followed up tuesday.

Hi all,
We're just waiting on contract drawings now. All good so far

We've had a few weeks delay in booking in for contract sign-off (our customer rep left Bentley), finally booked in for early next week. We were originally hoping to be in by Christmas, was probably a bit unrealistic.

Hows the Ritz 400 going raffiki and lilyh2o?

we are now waiting for developer permit approval as per our new customer rep. we just paid for the 5% deposit this week. now waiting to finalize our loan papers to send to Bentley.

Our contract is signed as of today and we'll be paying the deposit/finalising the mortgage paperwork shortly..

Hi Vicki. I was glad to find there are some others building with Bentley too.
From what I remember of the last time I built (with Henley around 1997), I think some moral support might be helpful

Hi all,
We're reaching the lockup stage with our Ritz 400. Plastering starts tomorrow.
Estimated 10 weeks to handover, which is really not bad. Can't wait.

Hi there, things are moving along for us. We have had our colour appointment and despite our CSA apparently going awol and them not being aware of our appointment being booked another CSA fitted us in and has been very helpful. So colours done and now waiting for our tender appointment in a couple of weeks.

Hi all,
Not much happening for us at the moment. We paid our deposit and the mortgage was sorted out in early June, just waiting for the developer approval/building permit. We had a bit of a issue a few weeks ago, our garage wall was going to be too high for approval so they had to reduce the height of our ceiling in the first level at the front of the house (was going to be about 3.2 metres, will be about 2.9 now). Hopefully all will be OK for the permits now.
