I kept checking your thread waiting to see what was happening. Lots of progress and everything looks great! If anyone undertsands what you mean about lugging heavy tile boxs...its me! I had 172 of them at 27.5kg each plus the outdoor ones which were even heavier! Will PM you about crossfit. Will be weird if you do it with some close friends of mine LOL! Brick wall looks great. It's identical to mine, including the mailbox LOL! Are you doing slats? I can't decide whether to do them or not. Don't want to enclose it in but do. Have you got someone lined up for sanding and polishing your floors? I got my mail box from bunnings! My hubby chose it which was nice for a change since I'm so over choosing stuff! I'm getting some aluminum - deciding if I want them horizontal or vertical thick or thin! Too many decisions! My builder got a sander in mind for me but will get a quote from your bloke too. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75739&p=1299716#p1299716 Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block, tiling, floorb 592Jul 07, 2016 11:35 am Hi. We have one cork expansion joint. I chose to go that way over leaving the 1-2mm gap. So glad I did. After they were sanded and polished you can barely notice it. The boards have so many colours in them already so it's not noticeable. I'll take a photo for you today so you can see. They look great. Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block, tiling, floorb 594Jul 08, 2016 2:52 am Looks great B43. The cork joints won't stand out much at all after sanding and coating them. Sent from an iPhone please excuse the ridiculous spell correcting software. Poor line up of trade, by builder. No tiler for another week. Once tilers is done the builders back to install all doors and architrave and skirting. Then painting starts after that! Still so far! Not fast like your place. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75739&p=1299716#p1299716 Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block, tiling, floorb 600Jul 10, 2016 8:23 pm Not a bad thing it's slow and steady B4M3T, tiling and painting are huge steps in your build and items you want perfect. Our painter was half blind and on the wine I think, we have some rather interesting painting areas or in his case complete lack of. I can imagine it would be frustrating to see it going so slowly though, the amount of say you have and choices is outstanding.
