That nearly killed me cos I started off ordering the wrong tiles returning the 10 heavy boxes, and just settle for gloss white, which helps make the feature wall tiles pop more! Lots of progress and everything looks great! If anyone undertsands what you mean about lugging heavy tile boxs...its me! I had 172 of them at 27.5kg each plus the outdoor ones which were even heavier! Will PM you about crossfit. Will be weird if you do it with some close friends of mine LOL! Brick wall looks great. It's identical to mine, including the mailbox LOL! Are you doing slats? I can't decide whether to do them or not. Don't want to enclose it in but do. Have you got someone lined up for sanding and polishing your floors? Hey Linnie, bricks are austral Topaz Tiles are from TFO in Smithfield they are porcelain but not rectified $24/m2 The dark grey feature tiles are also from TFO - $81/m2. I don't have the details of the brick layer since the builder organized it. I'm getting some aluminum - deciding if I want them horizontal or vertical thick or thin! Too many decisions! We have one cork expansion joint. I chose to go that way over leaving the 1-2mm gap. So glad I did. After they were sanded and polished you can barely notice it. The boards have so many colours in them already so it's not noticeable. I'll take a photo for you today so you can see. They look great. Poor line up of trade, by builder. No tiler for another week. Once tilers is done the builders back to install all doors and architrave and skirting. Then painting starts after that! Still so far! Our painter was half blind and on the wine I think, we have some rather interesting painting areas or in his case complete lack of. I can imagine it would be frustrating to see it going so slowly though, the amount of say you have and choices is outstanding. I love the idea of custom building I just don't know if I could keep the budget in check . dimensions on your original plan are inconsistent and with accurate dimensions (including site plan, upstairs and down) i could make a proper scale drawing with furniture… 3 7497 A quick update, we didn't have site start before Easter.
